The Peoples Democratic Party’s governorship candidate in the just concluded Osun election, Ademola Adeleke has arrived the Mpape Magistrate Court, ahead of his arraignment.
Adeleke arrived the Mpape Magistrate Court in a white bus in company of police officers and his supporters.
Sharing a video of Adeleke’s arrival in court on its official Twitter handle, PDP wrote:
“#RescueNigeria, Senator Ademola Adeleke arriving the premises of the Mpape Magistrate Court @UN @USEmbassyAbuja @UKinNigeria.”
The Nigeria Police Force had last night detained Adeleke, ahead of his arraignment today.
Confirming the arrest, the Force spokesman, Frank Mba, explained that Adeleke was picked up for a criminal offence.
