The chairman emeritus and founder of DAAR Communications Plc, Aleogho Dokpesi has called for the resignation of the Director-General of the National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, Ishaq Modibbo Kawu over allegations of bias, intimidation and an attempt to muscle the media in Nigeria. .
He added that the NBC boss who ought to be a non-partisan regulator is a card carrying member of the APC, contested elections in Kwara State under APC in the 2019 general elections and returned to office as NBC DG.
