A yet-to-be-identified 12-year-old girl was killed, yesterday, as the Redeemed Church road, Okpanam, Delta State, was sacked by flood after a downpour.
The girl was said to have unknowingly stepped into an open drain filled with flood waters and got swept away. Her body was later retrieved after the flood subsided.
