A tanker laden with Petroleum Metric Spirit (PMS) has spilled its content near Alapere Housing estate, Ketu, Lagos.
The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Tuesday caused panic and pandemonium in the area as commuters tried to avoid any disaster in the event of an explosion.
The incident has triggered traffic situation along Ketu-Oworonshoki expressway. Traffic agencies and their security counterpart are ensuring panic is reduced at the scene.
Firefighters are also at the scene to ensure that the spillage does not trigger a fire.
