Former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode on, Tuesday reacted to comment credited to Kaduna State governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai that Aliko Dangote, the richest businessman in Nigeria, is a Northerner.
According to the former minister, it is correct that Dangote, a Northerner is the richest businessman in the country and the continent, but only achieved that height because of the massive support he got from the federal government in the last 40 years.
Fani Kadoye tweeted:-
“The richest businessman in Nigeria is still Dangote not someone from Southern Nigeria, thank God for that”- @elrufai.
“Any southern businessman that received the kind of support that Dangote received from FG’s over the last 40 yrs would be the richest man in the WORLD today.”
