News Agency of Nigeria has reported the story of an Ibadan based commercial bus driver, Hakeem Yusuf, who is praying a customary court in Ibadan to dissolve his marriage because his wife, Ronke, is deceptive and discovered recently that she is also married to his neighbour.
Pleading with the court to dissolve their 10-year union, he said his estranged partner lured him into marriage.
His words:-
“My lord, Ronke and I were ordinary friends before she systematically encouraged me to marry her.
“Ronke is such an adulterous wife no man should never pray to have.
“I have trailed her to many scenes of her atrocities and she is a disgrace to womanhood.
“In fact, Ronke is currently married to our neighbour on the same street, after she had deceived me into giving her money to buy milk and Maltina drink.
“Ronke never lacked anything in my house and I also gave her a means of livelihood as a chemist shop owner.”
