A retired Director with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and a veteran sports journalist, Akinloye Oyebanji, has died aged 62.
He passed on at the National Hospital, Abuja, on Saturday morning, after a long battle with heart failure.
Some time ago, he lost his kidneys and underwent a successful transplant in India, but one of the side effects of kidney transplant is heart failure, which he had experienced on two occasions and survived.
