Former Manchester United winger, Nani, has said that he expects his former team-mate Bruno Fernandes to shine in the Premier League.

Manchester United are close to completing a deal for the Portuguese international.

However, a new twist emerged during the week with Tottenham attempting to hijack the deal.

Speaking, Nani said,

“I often said to him, ‘You with the strength you have, if you train a little more you will explode and drive the English crazy’.”

He told A Bola, via Sport Witness, “England is where he will shine, it’s the league where the players get the ball in after every shot, there are spectacular goals.”

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s United will be hoping that their former winger, Nani help persuade Fernandes to pick Old Trafford ahead of Tottenham.
