Ekiti: Fayose “Congratulates” Fayemi On One-Year In Office

Former Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Peter Ayodele Fayose, on Tuesday, congratulated Governor Fayemi Kayode, as he marks one year in office.

In a post sighted by Nl on his verified Twitter handle, Fayose wrote;

“YE Kayode Fayemi, I wish you well as you celebrate your one year anniversary in office hopefully with ‘visible projects’ that will speak for you tomorrow. Above all YE, I am not eligible to contest Ekiti Guber, so let’s have some peace.”

This is not the first time the former governor will openly congratulate his successor. Fayose had in May 2019, congratulated Fayemi on his election as Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF).
