PLEASE HELP! My Sister Has A Disabled Son, I Am Scared She Might Commit Suicide Soon Or Poison The Child

I am writing this with sadness, It’s a long story but i will try as much as possible to make it brief.

For over 10yrs now the boy have not talk, walk or been able to do other things but he can move around. The mother has three other kids plus him making four children. The mother is a widow, the father to the kids died about 3yrs ago leaving the wife and the children with no property.

The mother tried to hand over the disabled boy to the husband’s family for a resolution but he was rejected severally. Infact, they weren’t supportive at all.

Family from the mother side make some effort to log the boy to a welfarism center where they take care of people like that but every efforts prove abortive.

Infact, the mother has been visiting general hospital on a weekly basis, directed and redirected to one place or the other, spending money unnecessary without positive change. Money wey no dey before.

Because of the situation of the country, the mother has to go hustling at least to cater for the other three children. She goes inside of Lagos to sell sachet water and soft drink in traffic hold up.

The person looking after the boy where she scot whenever she is not around who happens to be a family member from the mother’s side, an elderly woman at that, have been complaining she can not bear it again.

She doesn’t have that strength to be carrying the boy here and there when she wants to clean him up.

The mother of this disabled boy is my sister and she cries almost everyday on this matter.

She is frustrated and depress, she doesn’t know what to do.

I am afraid she should not go and commit suicide or even poison the disabled boy. What is the way out? What can she do? What is the best option for her? Pls who is willing to help on this situation.

I will be glad to see a favourable solution to her problem.
