This time it’s to honour his league 36 goals last season, and which earned yet another European Golden Shoe.
He collected the trophy last October 16 for a record SIXTH time (following on from 2009/10 – 34 goals; 2011/12 -50 goals; 2012/13 – 46 goals ; 2016/17 – 37 goals and 2017/18 – 34 goals) and today donated it for display in the FC Barcelona Museum.

In all competitions, Messi broke the 50-goal barrier for the seventh time in his career last season.
