Bournemouth manager, Eddie Howe, has praised his team for getting over a bad start, to defeat Manchester United 1-0 in Saturday’s early kick-off.
Josh King grabbed the only goal of the game just before the interval.
The Cherries had more opportunities to increase their tally in the second half and wasted them.
Speaking to BT Sport afterwards, Howe said:
“It was a really good game, we were solid and competitive, we looked a real threat and thankfully we got over the line and kept another clean sheet.
“I thought we did not start well, we grew into the game but in the first 10 minutes they had too much of the ball.
“Once we settled down we were fine. We looked like we could score but what pleases me the most is how we defended our lead.
