Peruzzi’s Former Label, Goldenboy Entertainment File Lawsuit Against Him For Breach Of Contract

Peruzzi’s former record label; GoldenBoy Entertainment have commenced legal action against DMW artiste over the allegation that he breached the contract he has with them.

GoldenBoy claim that Peruzzi has been going about writing, performing and singing songs without remitting any money to their account which is a negation to the contract he has with them.

The label claim they have not made any money from Peruzzi’s music activities despite the fact that he makes loads of cash from shows and his music.

From the document obtained online in which a representative of the label published, it reads;

“GoldenBoy Entertainment has commenced legal proceedings against Peruzzi in suit Suit No: LD2902GCM/2018 at the High Court of Lagos State.

Rather than submit to the jurisdiction of the court, Peruzzi has been going about threatening officials of GoldenBoy with violence. In addition, he has shown so much disdain and disrespect for the judicial process.”

In addition, it also reads, “as it is now, GoldenBoy has not made any amount whatsoever from its intellectual property rights with respect to all works written, produced, co-produced and performed by Peruzzi since the inception of the agreement.

This wouldn’t be the first time a disagreement would occur between Peruzzi and GoldenBoy Entertainment but it seems they always find a way to settle their differences. We hope it happens yet again.
