SACKED Tottenham Boss Pochettino Speaks On Future As A Coach (See What He Said)

Mauricio Pochettino says he is “ready” and “open to listen” to offers as he considers his return to management.

The Argentine, 47, was sacked by Tottenham Hotspur in November after five years in charge, with the club in 14th in the Premier League.

However, after leading Spurs to last season’s Champions League final, Pochettino has been linked with high-profile jobs across Europe.

“You have to be ready if you believe it is the right moment,” he said.

Since leaving the north London club, Pochettino has been spending time with his parents and family in Argentina.

But speaking in Qatar before the Club World Cup final between Liverpool and Flamengo, he stressed he will “be ready if something arrives and, of course, open to listen”.

“It is a weird time for us. But at the same time, I’m very relaxed, very happy when you look backwards. And, of course, obviously in life you need to move on,” he added.
