


An early morning fire that razed several houses and shops along Akala Express Road in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital, on Tuesday has left many residents counting their loses.
The fire was understood to have broken out from one of the shops along the roadside before it then spread to adjourning houses and shops.
Property worth several millions of Naira were reportedly burnt in the inferno which occurred close to the popular Club 360 along Akala Expressway, Elebu.
As at the time of filing this report, firefighters were working to put out the fire while Police were on ground to prevent the break down of law and order and secure the area.
