Osun State Police Command has on Tuesday nabbed a patent medicine store owner, others for dealing with human heads.

According to the report, Naija News understands that two suspected ritualists, Adesina Adeniyi 42, and Oluwole Olapade, 58 were both arrested for dealing with human heads for the purpose of using it for rituals.

Speaking to newsmen on Tuesday, the Osun State Commissioner of Police, Johnson Kokumo, reveals that the command made an arrest of the two men, suspected to be ritualists.

Kokumo reveals that one of the suspects, Adeniyi, was nabbed with two human skulls and a liver while he was travelling on a commercial bus to Ibadan, Oyo State.

He said, ”Following the murder of one Favour Oladele-Daley, we decided to rid the state of a ritual element in the state and during one of such efforts, a suspected ritualist was caught with two human skull and other human parts.”

”Upon investigation after the arrest of the suspect, his accomplice, Oluwole Olapade, a resident of Yemetu in Ibadan was trailed and arrested. Olapade, a native doctor, who required human skull for charm had pledged to pay N20,000 per skull to the attendants.”

”He told us that he got the skull before which he claimed did not produce money, hence, he decided another skull should be procured for use.”

He added that the suspect had confessed that it was not his first time of involvement in the act, that he does look for skulls in open cemetery in the town.

He further noted that he had already supplied one to his customer before and was supposed to deliver another one to him before he was caught.

Adeniyi in his confession disclosed that also owns a patent medicine store.

Naija News recalls about three weeks ago that the spokesman of the Taraba State NSCDC command, Mr Godwin Peter, confirmed that the operative paraded five suspected ritualist in Jalingo, Taraba state capital while attempting to kill a 10-year-old boy in the bush.
