Barely 24 hours to the swearing-in ceremony of David Lyon of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as Bayelsa State governor, the Supreme Court has sacked him and his deputy.
It will be recalled as earlier reported by Naija News that the apex court on Thursday nullified the election of Bayelsa State governor-elect, David Lyon and his running mate Biobarakuma Degi-Eremienyo.
The Apex court also declared the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Douye Diri as the authentic winner of the election.
