In 20 NBA seasons, Kobe Bryant participated in the All-Star Game 18 times, making him the second most selected player after Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (19 selections). The one nicknamed “Black Mamba” was crowned four times the best player in the All-Star Game, in 2002, 2007, 2009 and in 2011 (co-MVP with Shaquille O’Neal), tied with Bob Pettit (1956, 1958, 1959 co-MVP with Elgin Baylor and 1962).
