Bayelsa: Diri Makes New Appointments As Governor (Full List)

Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State on Thursday approved the appointment of a new Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Chief of Staff (CoS) and other principal officers.

Naija News reports that the appointments were made known in a statement the Acting Chief Press Secretary, Mr Daniel Alabrah.

The new appointees include a former Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Konbowei Benson, who will serve as Secretary to the State Government.

Among the appointees include a former Chairman of Ogbia brotherhood, Chief Benson Agadaga, who is to serve as Chief of Staff, Hon. Peter Pereotubo Akpe as Deputy Chief of Staff and Mr Irorodamie Komonibo as Principal Secretary.

This online news platform reports that the appointment will take immediate effect.

Recall that Governor Diri had earlier announced the appointment of Daniel Alabrah as his Acting Chief Press Secretary.
