Missionary Dies After Welcoming A Set Of Twins After 23 Years Of Waiting

Relatives of a Nigerian Christian missionary man has been put into mourning after he died a pitiful death.

As shared by a businesswoman who happens to be an elder in a Church, a missionary has died after God has favoured him with a set of twins following a long wait to join fatherhood.

Reporting the incident, Mrs Ibukun Awosika shared on her Instagram page the death of a respected Nigerian missionary, Mr Tony Abayomi Alder, who died a few months after receiving a gift of twins from God, following a  long wait of 23 years to become a father.

Naija News understands that Mr Alder was blessed with a set of twins, all boys, but died seven months later.

Mrs Awosika took to her social media page, Instagram to be precise, to express their pain over the demise of the missionary who she described as a most trustworthy man of God.

She wrote; “Tony Abayomi Alder. Who went to be with the Lord today 24/2/2020.
A most faithful, most diligent, most dedicated, most trustworthy and loyal member of my team at Christian Missionary Fund for the past 25 years.”

“You became my brother and my friend as we sought to build an institution to serve the Lord through the support of the missionaries across the length and breadth of Nigeria. That you will be missed is an understatement.”

She added; “I am grateful to God that, after waiting for 23 years, you witnessed the birth and enjoyed being a father to your twin boys, if only for 7 months. We truly love you but humbly submit to the will of God. May you forever be remembered for your cheerful service to the God you loved so much, your faithfulness as a husband to Toyin and your love of all around you.”
