The Kano State government-led by Abdullahi Ganduje on Monday, March 9, dethroned Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II.

Naija News reports Emir Sanusi’s dethronement followed the State Council Executive meeting presided over by the Governor Ganduje.

According to the Kano state government, a new Emir will be announced shortly.
