Coronavirus: Four Children, Teacher Quarantined In Lagos

Four children of the same family and their teacher have been quarantined for Coronavirus.

This was today announced by the Lagos State Government while adding that they all came into the country from the United States of America (USA).

The disclosure was made by Prof. Akin Abayomi, Commissioner for Health, at a news conference in Alausa, Lagos.

He added that another man from the United Kingdom was also under quarantine.

Abayomi said all five children and teacher were quarantined because they had contact with a Coronavirus patient, adding that they were admitted into the isolation centre in Yaba two days ago.

He further noted that they have gone through the first series of test but all tested negative.

He added another test would be conducted within 48 hours for final confirmation.

Abayomi said the man from UK would be tested today to ascertain his status.
