So, yesterday, Easter Sunday, comedian AY Makun took his annual comedy show online via Instagram Live following coronavirus crises.
The show is an annual comedy show that takes place every Easter Sunday, hosted by Nigeria’s top Comedian, Ayo Makun, well known as AY.
The event took a rather unusual route, in terms of how it is hosted (physical appearances by guests).
The show resorted to Instagram Live on its 2020 edition, following a strict ‘lockdown’ / social distancing directive by Federal Government to curtail the spread of coronavirus that ravaged the entire world in 2020.
Just like every other social activities affected by the pandemic took to Instagram live, The Easter Show had an interesting and successful Instagram Live show as celebrities and lovers of the show logged on to witness the first ever AY Live on Easter Sunday holding via Instagram Live.
To spice up the event, lots of celebrities and fashion icons played dress up and looked astonishing.
The likes of Toke Makinwa, Mercy Eke, Alex Unusual, Nancy Isime and others were all looking classy as they attended the event right inside their respective homes.
