Yul Edochie reveals the Russian-American stage actor his father named him after

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has revealed that he was named after Yul Brynner, a Russian-American stage actor.

Yul Edochie whose father is Pete Edochie, a Nollywood legend, made this known in an Instagram post in which he revealed that he has apparently grown to be like the actor.

This makes him wonder if the name given to children play a role in what they eventually become.

He wrote: “My father named me after this great actor Yul Brynner.
He was an outstanding stage and film actor, with a deep voice.
I seem to have grown to be just like him, same looks too, same eyes, same bald head, though my nose is way bigger than his. So I’m just thinking…. The name you give to your child, does it play a role in the development of that child??”
