Lockdown: Nigerian partygoers  allegedly shot by Ghanaian police

Some Nigerian party goers living in Ghana have reportedly been shot by Ghanaian police in which one has reportedly died while another one is fighting for his life.

According to reports, the ugly incident happened on Friday ,15th May, 2020, at a party which held in a nightclub around Tema Road, Ghana.

The yet-to-be identified men, in a company of friends, had visited the club for a birthday party despite the partial lockdown enforced by the Ghanaian government. .

Police officers were said to have later stormed the venue and an argument ensued.

According to a source, “There was an argument between the police officers and the men and before we knew what was going on, one of the police officers opened fire.

We had to call for help before they were whisked to Lekma Hospital for treatment. Yes, it’s true they broke the law, but they didn’t deserve to be shot. The lady who captured the incident has been arrested as well.”
