Nigerian singer Di’ja speaks out against child marriage

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Hadiza Blell, better known by her stage name Di’Ja, recently joined others on social media, in the fight against child marriage.
Taking to the Twitter platform, she opined that young girls needed to be allowed to mature before being made to marry and engage in sexual reproduction.

According to her, if a man really means well for a girl, he’ll wait until she’s 18 years of age before marrying her.
