Catholic Priest, Rev. Father Christopher Osia, Of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Ikabigbo community, Etsako West Local Government Area, who was abducted by gunmen early hour of today in Edo State has been reportedly killed.

DAILY POST had reported that the priest was kidnapped Ikabigbo community of Etsako West Local Government Area of the state on Sunday morning.

Fellow Catholic Priest, Fr Kelvin Ugwu confirmed the killing in a post on his verified Facebook page on Sunday night.

He wrote, “Sad News: The priest of Auchi diocese, Rev Fr Christopher Osia, that was kidnapped this morning the 26th of June 2022 on his way to mass has been killed”.

Details of the incident are sketchy as at the time of filing this report.
