A member of the House of Representatives from Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa Federal Constituency, Oyo State, Shina Peller, has dumped the All Progressives Congress.
The lawmaker announced his defection on his Twitter page on Friday. He added that he would be announcing his new party on Tuesday after due consultations.
Justifying his defection, Peller claimed that “the party style of democracy in Oyo State kills my conscience”.
He added that his continued stay in APC would be at the detriment of interest of his supporters, particularly the youths.
