The newly appointed Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Brigadier General Muhammed Fadah has charged camp officials to always show love and treat corps members with utmost care.
Brig. Gen. Fadah also charged the officials o empathize and correct corps members, instead of scolding them, as doing so will throw them into confusion.
Brigadier General Fadah gave the advice yesterday when he paid an unscheduled visit to the Magaji Dan Yamusa Permanent NYSC Orientation Camp, Keffi as part of his familiarization visit to the camps in the country.
His visit also coincided with the inspection of the 2022 Batch B stream 11 NYSC orientation exercise.

The NYSC DG, who commended camp officials for their efforts so far, also congratulated the corps members on their successful graduation from their various institutions of higher learning and thanked them for presenting themselves for national service.

He however cautioned them against acts that are inimical to their stay on camp such as the wrong use of the social media, night travels, drug abuse among others.
Maj. Gen. Fadah added that anyone found indulging in them would be sanctioned in line with NYSC bye laws.

While urging them to embrace the Skills Acquisition and Enterpreneurship Development (SAED) Programme, Maj. Gen. Fadah noted that corps members that perform well at the end of the service year will be provided with funds to set up their businesses.

The Director General was accompanied on the visit by the Director of Special Duties at the Defence Headquarters, Alhaji Musa Abubakar and the Director Press and Public Affairs Mr. Eddy Megwa among others.
