To recap, the PDP has won the most number of states with 13, followed by APC with 12, and LP with 11. NNPP ended the contest with only one state won. The APC is leading with the highest number of votes won.

The results of the 2023 presidential election have now been announced for all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and the National Collation Centre in Abuja.

The collation of results is about to kick off once again. There are 17 results ready to be announced. Hopefully, we can be done by the end of today and a winner announced.

INEC has now postponed the commencement of the result collation today to 3:30 pm. The results of five states are ready to go.

The PDP, LP and ADC have called on the INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, to step down immediately and allow someone else to conduct a fresh presidential election. They said, “This election is not free, and far from being fair or transparent. We have lost faith in the entire process.”

INEC has announced that collation will start at 12 pm today.

The National Collation Centre has announced results from 13 states so far – Tinubu has won six, Atiku has won five, and Obi has won two.

It’s unclear when INEC will resume collation, but the commission has gone on another break.

Multiple party agents have rejected INEC’s result of the presidential election in Ekiti. They claimed there was overvoting in the state but chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, said the parties are using inaccurate figures not presented by INEC.

Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) has beaten Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State with 582,454 votes.

The Labour Party has rejected the results announced for Badagry and Lagos Mainland LGAs. The party’s agent claimed the result in Badagry didn’t tally with what the party collated from polling unit to polling unit, and also claimed its supporters were disenfranchised in Lagos Mainland.

We’re going to be starting the collation of results in Lagos, where the officials are about to announce the number of votes scored by candidates in all the local government areas.

INEC has postponed the collation of the result of the 2023 presidential election till 6 pm today.

We’re ready to go! INEC chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, has commenced his opening statement before the collation of results starts.

INEC has postponed the commencement of the collation of results to 1 pm.

For a winner to emerge, he must win the highest number of votes and also win at least 25% of the votes in at least 24 states. If this doesn’t happen, there will be a runoff election involving only two candidates – the one who wins the most votes, and the one who wins the highest number of votes in the highest number of states.

Out of the 93.5 million Nigerians on the register of voters, 87.2 million Nigerians were available to vote with their PVCs, but fingers remain crossed on the turnout rate of the February 25, 2023 election.

There are 18 presidential candidates on the ballot, but the three frontrunners with strong chances of victory are Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives’ Congress (APC) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP). Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) is also expected to cause an upset, but not enough to win.
