According to some reports, Rema’s bouncers had ignored Laycon and other housemates who wanted to take selfies with him, leading to an argument with Davido and the alleged incident.

However, Rema has now denied any bad blood between himself and Davido. In an interview, he stated that he has always had respect for other artists, including those who came before him

He emphasized that his goal is to focus on making good music, rather than causing trouble or engaging in feuds. Rema also praised the unity among Afrobeats artists, noting that despite individual egos and achievements, they have managed to work together successfully for a long time.
