Youths in Oba in Idemili South Council Area of Anambra State on Friday morning, June 23, stormed a brothel where underaged girls work as sex workers.
It was gathered that the brothel is run by a woman identified as “Madam Ukwu Venza”.
It was further gathered that the minors numbering over 30 are kept in separate rooms where they wait for fun seekers to arrive to patronize them.
The girls are said to be between the ages of 13 to 18 years.
One of the girls said she is 13 years and hails from Ukpo in Anambra.
Another girl explained that at the end of each day, a certain agreed sum of money is remitted to the madam’s desk as commission.
It was also alleged that other criminal activities like child trafficking and drug peddling also take place there.
