Social media influencer and medical doctor, Harvey Olufunmilayo has slammed the Minister of Communication, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani over a plan by the FG to engage in Telemedicine.
It all started after Dr. Bosun (pictured top right) posted a tweet asking Nigerian doctors based abroad what they think about a tech platform that they can use to treat Nigerians.

Dr Olufunmilayo didn’t buy the idea. He called it a very foolish idea which would not solve any current problems of the healthcare industry in Nigeria. He opined that no foreign medical personnel would create time to virtually diagnose Nigerian patients as the pay (in Naira) would be ’useless.’
He told the Minister to focus instead on revitalizing the primary healthcare sector and creating a digital data base for Nigerian patients.
