BBNaija contestant, Topher in a conversation shared his thoughts on Ben’s close relationship with Anita, his love interest in the house.

The discussion, which involved Ben, Chizoba, Anita, and the Doublekay pair, Kelly Rae and Kassia, highlighted Topher’s initial suspicions about Ben’s intentions toward Anita.

Topher admitted that he initially thought Ben had romantic feelings for Anita because of the attention and care he frequently showed her.

“I know how well he takes care of Chizoba and Anita,” Topher said. “His own was too good to be true. I started feeling like, does Ben like Anita? I need to get to the root of this matter.”

The suspicion was amplified by the fact that Anita and Topher have developed a romantic relationship in the BBNaija house, making Topher more sensitive to how others interact with her.

He described how Ben would always compliment Anita, sometimes even before he had the chance to. “Before I even say Anita, you’re looking so good, Ben will say it first,” he remarked, jokingly. “I’m like, who is this fool? Let me compliment her first!”

Despite his initial concerns, Topher clarified that over time, he came to realize that Ben’s actions were simply a reflection of his caring nature.

“It’s just nice knowing there are people who can be friends with a babe, and there’s nothing attached to it,” he concluded.
