The Enugu State Police Command has arrested one Innocent Ishaku, 22, for telecommunication mast vandalism.

The Spokesperson of the command, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, who disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, October 3, 2024, said operatives serving in Thinker’s Corner Division arrested the suspect for vandalising cables at a telecommunications mask at Naira Triangle, Abakaliki Road, Enugu.

“His arrest led to the recovery of some lengths of vandalised cables, the value of which is yet-to-be ascertained, a plier and screwdriver he used for the criminal act,” the PPRO stated.

“The Suspect will be arraigned once the ongoing investigation is concluded.”
