Arsenal legend, Paul Merson has named the only club in the world Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak can join in the summer.

Isak has long been linked with a move away from Newcastle United.

The Sweden international has been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.

Isak has been impressive so far this season for Eddie Howe’s side as he helped the to reach the Carabao Cup final on Wednesday.

The 25-Year-Old striker scored a goal in Newcastle’s Carabao Cup semi-final second leg 2-0 win over Arsenal.

Isak has been linked with a move away from Newcastle in the summer after reaming at St. James’ Park following the conclusion of the January transfer window.

However, Merson believes Isak can only join the Gunners in the summer.

“He’s not going to Man City, he’s not going to Man Utd, I don’t know if they’ve got any money to buy anybody anyway,” Merson told Sky Sports.

“You’re not going to Tottenham or Villa. He can only go to Arsenal really unless it’s Real Madrid and they’ve got Mbappe anyway.

“For me it’s only Arsenal where he can go and then it’s up to him. Does he want to go to Arsenal where I might win something or stay at Newcastle and might win something. It will be an interesting one but it depends on the fair play rules.”
