Paris Saint-Germain defender Achraf Hakimi made history on Saturday after scoring in his side’s UEFA Champions League final against Inter Milan.
Hakimi found the net in the first half, writing his name into the history books.
His goal in the 12th minute of the encounter ensured he became the first player to score for a French club in a European Cup final.
According to L’Équipe, the Moroccan international has now succeeded Daniel Dutuel, a former Bordeaux player, after 29 Years.
Recall that on 15 May 1996, in the second leg of the UEFA Cup final against Bayern Munich, Dutuel scored a superb free-kick that beat Oliver Kahn.
