Suspected herdsmen have reportedly killed two individuals along the Uikpam–Umenger road near Uikpam town earlier today.

The incident happened in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State, a region that has seen frequent clashes in recent times.

According to eyewitnesses, the victims were attacked while traveling on the deserted road, which has become notorious for repeated violence.

As of the time of filing this report, authorities have not released an official statement regarding the attack.
