Olaoluwa Segun, a popular TikToker who named actress Dayo Amusa among the actors living with HIV, has shared his experience in jail.

DAILY POST reports that the content creator had in July 2025, named the actress among the list of celebrities living with HIV.

Reacting to the viral list, Amusa who debunked the claim, explained that she only made a post about her HIV status in 2019 to educate her fans.

She further threatened to make the TikToker a scapegoat for spreading false news.

However, speaking in a video on Tuesday, the content creator revealed he was locked up by the actress.

He described his two days experience at the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department, CID, popularly known as Panti, as the worst of his life.

“I was locked up in Panti for two days after I honored the police invite over Dayo Amusa’s petition against me. This was the worst experience of my life after the death of my mum.

“Immediately I entered the cell, a rugged-looking guy ordered me to prostrate and greet them.

“There is no furniture in the cell, it has four pit latrines and one uncovered window where mosquitoes kept coming in.

“I begged to use the pit latrine and they allowed me. You can’t imagine the terrible smell coming from the pit because there is no door separating the cell from the latrine. So, it’s like we sleeping inside the toilet. You can imagine the bad odor.

“Luckily, one of the leaders in the cell who recognised me said he is one of my followers on TikTok. He was the one that protected from being treated like other newcomers.

“We were 60 people in the cell. The inmates told me it was the same cell Naira Marley was kept in when he was arrested. We all slept on cold tiles. But I want to appreciate Aunty Dayo Amusa for changing her mind to forgive me. If not, I would have stayed there much longer.”
