Famous Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Stanley Ajemba, popularly known as Stanley Ontop, has been arrested for alleged defamation.

Stanley was reportedly arrested and detained by the Delta State Police Command on Tuesday following a petition by actress, Queeneth Hilbeth.

Stanley’s associate and activist, Mama Pee, raised the alarm in a series of posts on her Instagram story.

While accusing Queeneth Hilbeth of using the Nigeria Police to harass and intimidate people, Mama Pee said, “Stanley Ontop arrested and detained in SCID Asaba!

She said, “Free Stanley Ontop, @queenethhilbert you all should stop using police to harass people. Dear Queeneth Hilbeth, how about going to court instead of using police to intimidate? Whoever has a case should go to court or is defamation not for court again?

“Delta State Police why is Stanley in detention? These are two public figures!”
