Relationship therapist Blessing CEO has expressed joy after her partner, Ikechukwu Darry Ogobnna, popularly known as IVD, was discharged and acquitted in the case surrounding the death of his wife.

Blessing announced that IVD was cleared of all charges on December 15, bringing to an end what she described as a four-year ordeal filled with tears and false narratives.

In a post shared on Instagram, she praised Nigeria’s justice system and congratulated IVD on regaining his freedom and life.

“Discharged and acquitted…15th December 2025. It ended in praise. Four years of tears and false narratives. Nigeria’s justice system still works. I am proud of my country. Ikechukwu Darry Ogobnna, IVD, you can now have your life back. Congratulations,” she wrote.

She also advised people to walk away from toxic marriages and relationships before they spiral out of control.

“If marriage or relationship no dey work, please run, don’t wait for anybody to pass. Run,” she added.

IVD was arrested in August at the airport over a domestic violence case linked to his late wife, Bimbo. At the time, Blessing insisted there was no travel ban placed on him and accused some individuals of bullying and harassment.
