Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has said he prefers action to excessive talk. Alia said this during a political message at his hometown of Vandeikya Local Government Area of the state on Tuesday.
He emphasized that his leadership style is centered on action rather than lengthy public statements.
In a video, which lasted approximately 20 minutes and 25 seconds, he stated that he “does not talk much” but prefers to “act using his shoulders,”
He used the occasion to caution individuals allegedly receiving certain benefits to work against the interests of Vandeikya people ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The remarks come amid political alignments and grassroots mobilization across Benue State as discussions surrounding the next electoral cycle gradually gain momentum.
While the governor did not publicly mention specific names during the address, the comments have since generated reactions online, with supporters and critics offering differing interpretations to the message.
