Famous Nigerian singer, Davido, has called out the current minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola, over his alleged plan.

Davido called Oyetola out in the early hours of Tuesday, on X, revealing that his plan is “very embarrassing”.

The singer, who tagged Oyetola, a former governor of Osun State, as the most desperate politician, stated that his plan had failed.

Davido wrote “The most desperate politician in the world is @GboyegaOyetola very embarrassing. Oyetola your plan no go work.”

While the singer failed to detail the alleged plan, DAILY POST reports that this is coming amid the political tension in Osun state ahead of the forthcoming governorship election on August 15, 2026.

DAILY POST reports that Davido had two weeks ago announced suspension of his music career for two months in order to be actively campaigning for his uncle and Osun State governor, Ademola Adeleke’s re-election.
