The UEFA Technical Observer Group on Thursday named Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers as the 2025/26 UEFA Europa League Player of the Season.

This follows the conclusion of the competition on Wednesday night in Turkey.

Recall that Aston Villa defeated Freiburg 3-0 to win this season’s UEFA Europa League.

However, apart from Rogers, other players have won some individual awards.

Freiburg’s Johan Manzambi was named UEFA Europa League Revelation of the Season for his impressive display.

Aston Villa’s Emiliano Buendia was named Hankook Player of the Match after scoring one goal and setting up another during the final.

Nottingham Forest’s Igor Jesus and Ludogorets’ Petar Stanić both shared the top-scorer award in the Europa League after finishing with seven goals each to their names.
