Veteran Nigerian actress, Shaffy Bello, has said that she has no plans to become a movie producer, saying that acting is the main gift God gave her.

The movie star made this known during an appearance on a popular television programme, the Morayo Brown Show. She said that actors should stay on their own paths instead of forcing themselves into roles that do not fit their talents.

“I am an actor. Every actor does not have to be a producer. I face my lane. I do what God asks me to do. And he asked me to have an impact,” she said.

Bello shared that she once prayed to become a household name in the entertainment industry. However, she noted that after gaining fame, she realised the platform came with heavy pressure and the duty to change lives positively.

She stated that while she is not completely ruling out future movie production, it is not her current focus. She urged other filmmakers to identify their unique strengths and run with them.

The actress also advised women that they do not need to expose their bodies to look beautiful to the public.
