The Monsters & Strangerz handle the production, creating the setting for two singers whose contrasting backgrounds meet through a similarly vulnerable approach to melody and expression.
ZAYN carries particular significance for Ayra, who grew up listening to both One Direction and his solo music. She has praised the strength and vulnerability in his voice, qualities she felt naturally complemented her own vocal character and made the collaboration convincing.
