Released in September 2023, “Jaga Jaga” pairs Nigerian singer Victony with fellow Nigerian artist Babyboy AV for a reflective standalone single centred on survival, gratitude and personal experience.
Victony approaches the song from an autobiographical angle, describing a complicated life while repeatedly acknowledging God’s mercy. One especially direct line recalls the 2021 accident that left him seriously injured, giving the record a clear connection to events he has lived through rather than an invented storyline.
