Award-winning Nigerian Afropop singer Crayon keeps his 2026 run moving with “Cho!”, an August release arriving after earlier singles including “Baami” and “Ball”.
Crayon stays close to the melodic strengths that have shaped much of his catalogue, using an animated vocal approach and hook-led writing to give the record the lively character associated with his Afropop work.
Presented as a standalone single, “Cho!” keeps the focus firmly on its central refrain and Crayon’s expressive delivery rather than introducing a wider project concept around the release.
The song adds another entry to a career already strengthened by records such as “Ijo (Laba Laba)” and “Ngozi”, while Crayon also carries the distinction of winning African Fan Favorite at the 2023 AFRIMMA Awards.
