Three years after the original “Miss You”, Nigerian singer FOLA revisits the idea with “miss u ii (nriri)”, the fifth track on his forthcoming 14-song album 9.
The sequel stays with longing and absence, giving FOLA room to address someone he still misses through a more personal line of writing. It follows “It’s Over”, his collaboration with Bella Shmurda and Zlatan from the same upcoming project.
Sbthaproducer handled the production, placing FOLA’s melodic delivery at the front of an Afrobeats arrangement that keeps the vocal performance and recurring expressions of missing someone central to the record.
The release arrives after the wider attention surrounding his 2025 debut album Catharsis and a run of notable collaborations, giving this follow-up an established audience before 9 arrives in full.
