Fresh from his appearance alongside Davido and FOLA on the chart-topping “B4 B4”, Nigerian Afrobeats star Mayorkun steps forward with “Kaluba” as his new August 2026 single.
Mayorkun approaches the record with the sharp, conversational writing that has long complemented his melodic side, while early snippets have drawn attention to his punchline-heavy phrasing and playful use of familiar Nigerian references.
The Afrobeats record keeps the vocals prominent within a lively arrangement, giving his melodies and wordplay enough space to carry the performance without overcrowding the song.
“Kaluba” arrives at a strong moment for Mayorkun, with “B4 B4” currently enjoying multiple weeks atop the Official Nigeria Top 100. It also marks fresh material after his 2025 album Still The Mayor, extending the momentum surrounding his recent return to the spotlight.
